Crowd Solo, our free social distancing and attractions management app is being utilised by entertainment destinations across five continents to help them plan their reopening strategies, aid guests and staff in staying alert and assist in making the environment and attractions Covid secure.
The mobile app is being made available free of charge from June as part of our commitment to help the industry get back on its feet as quickly and as safely as possible. The app features an attraction reservation and queue-management system with real-time proximity alerts, providing operators with instant insight into guest movements to avoid crowd hotspots.
Leisure and entertainment destinations of all genres have been in touch about the app to help their facilities reopen and aid with following social distancing protocols, from theme parks including Hunderfossen Family Park in Norway and Dinoland in The Netherlands, to indoor leisure activities including the Midlands Roller Arena in the UK.
Commenting on their reopening strategy, Hogne Høstmælingen, CEO of Hunderfossen Family Park, which plans to reopen on 6th June explains:
“We were searching for digital queuing systems and had looked at a range of solutions. Holovis is well known in our business and the Crowd Solo solution seems to be the best for us. The ability to let our guests book their time on our most popular rides without having to stand in physical queues is an important aspect that is helping with our social distancing approach. We look forward to getting started with this system.”
Peter Cliff, Creative Director at Holovis explains:
“We have been so humbled by the response to Crowd Solo and the number of people who are thanking us for making something available that can help with their reopening strategy. Obviously there are a series of other measures that each location will be putting in place but the real-time data obtained from the Crowd Solo platform helps them to be agile, so operators can continually monitor how effectively their facility is operating, especially around park entrances, exits and attraction loading hot spots.
“This heatmap data can be viewed in real-time and retrospectively to analyse trends to help expand capacity, support staffing plans and manage attractions safely.
“We are still taking sign ups for the app and are happy to jump on a call with anyone still finalising their plans to see how we can help.”
