Project Manager
Description

To deliver projects to customers, on time, to budget and quality through effective resource optimisation and the application of robust project and account management.

The role involves:

  1. Managing projects and programmes of work in the UK and globally
  2. Delivering projects such as installation and maintenance of AV equipment and production of software and media
Responsibilities

Project Management:

  1. Delivery of projects
  2. Establishing and agreeing baseline project scope, budget and timescales
  3. Identifying and managing project RAID criteria
  4. Keeping up to date costings sheets
  5. Identifying and managing dependencies which may affect the success of the project, including 3rd party activities
  6. Assigning, controlling, leading and motivating all project resources
  7. Managing sponsor and other stakeholder expectations through regular reporting and communication
  8. Managing resources, equipment, and the procurement of items for projects
  9. Maintaining an effective project audit trail
  10. Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety at all times

People Management:

  1. Matrix managing a project team which has the right mix of skills to deliver the project
  2. Planning and managing the deployment of resources to meet project milestones
  3. Setting achievable objectives and taking responsibility for making decisions and for providing constructive feedback
  4. Communicating difficult or sensitive information tactfully
  5. Communicating effectively with clients

Financial Management:

  1. Managing projects to budget and producing budget reports for work done and forecasts for future costs
  2. Reviewing project profitability and margin performance
  3. Assuring project legal documents are completed and signed

Technical Understanding

  1. Understand system integration and drawing schematics
  1. Maintaining an awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements
Qualifications

Preferably APMP, Agile or PRINCE2 Qualified

Experience of having managed projects end to end, with full budget responsibility

You’ll need an EU/UK Passport and a driving licence

Happy to travel, you’ll need to spend nights away, in the UK, in Europe and on long haul trips

Experience of working with international teams across borders would be great.
