The Role

This is a temporary contract for 6 months, based in Osaka, Japan. The position is available for an immediate start and would suit anyone who is looking to gain experience in Project Management or in the theme park industry.

You will provide support for the project team and perform variety of tasks requested by them.

About You

  • Good verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
  • Flexible on working hours, the job will involve working on night shifts and/or weekend days
  • Capable of managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
  • Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Able to attend high level meetings and effectively summarise information and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Able to document in English and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Excited about the opportunity of working in the Theme Park industry and about delivering major attractions
  • Capable in the use of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings

Extra Nice Skills To Have

These skills are not essential, but they will be useful:

  • Able to maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditure
  • Experienced in ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Preparation of necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Experienced in chairing or facilitating meetings where appropriate and distributing minutes to all project team members
  • Good use of Microsoft Project and other project management tools
  • Experience in entertainment or theme park work
