In the past the only way to drive ultra high-end display solutions, especially large-scale immersive environments, was to use supercomputing technology. Over the past few years the rapid advancement in PC-based computing power and faster and highly capable graphics technology from leading companies such as NVidia, has meant that high-end graphics and computing technology has become far more accessible.

HoloVis works in partnership with Sun Microsystems and various PC-based supercomputing partner companies to design and deliver the computing power required to drive everything from our standard Jupiter Digital Signage systems, to our multi-channel MediaWall solutions, through to our ultra high-resolution Apollo range of products that require high-end cluster solutions and specialist graphics technology.

Currently our Apollo range of products are all designed around the latest Sun Microsystems Ultra range of PC computer systems using NVidia Quadro technology. Where multiple graphics 'pipes' are required from a limited number of processors, HoloVis have also worked very closely with NVidia to test solutions using their latest QuadroPlex external graphics cluster systems.

As each display solution is designed around a client's exact requirements, HoloVis always work closely with the client and their IT departments to ensure the computing technology is correct for the chosen display and is compatible with their suite of applications.
