Holovis has won Company Of The Year at the prestigious AV Technology Awards 2020!
The announcement was made on 25th June by Installation Magazine, when the glitzy award ceremony should have taken place, but was cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Over the 12 months from March 2019 to the end of February 2020, we have seen record turnover, increased company growth, the launch of new offices and proprietary software packages and patented solution driven innovations hitting the market.
Stuart Hetherington, CEO of Holovis comments:
“The last 12 months have certainly been eventful, to say the least, but we are so proud of this achievement. It is completely down to our incredibly hard working, forward thinking and awe inspiring team. Every single person has had a part to play in getting us here and there will be celebrations when the time is right!
One strategic goal has been to build on the unique cross sector capability between the Entertainment and Enterprise sectors, utilising advancements of technology in one market to bring transformative propositions and business tools to another.
A major new product success in 2019 has been the launch of HoloTrac, our proprietary software platform powered by cutting-edge computer vision technologies, integrated with complex sensor arrays and all underpinned with AI driven data analytics.
This plays a key part in the LEGO Factory Adventure dark ride, launching next year at LEGOLAND New York. Guests are transformed into LEGO Minifigures using the HoloTrac attribute recognition feature to identify hair colour and style, glasses and t-shirt colour. Motion tracking them allows them to move their Minifigure!
Within an Enterprise environment, this same platform can be used to aid predictive maintenance and assess tooling, press plants and sealer applications accuracy. This is achieved with an Augmented Reality overlay to recognise the CAD positioning and determine whether panels pass or fail. This increases the right first time ratio and reduces rework costs.
